MONTANA REINS OF HOPE

Montana Reins of Hope is based at Mallard Ridge Ranch in the Missoula Valley of Montana, where it brings together horses, people, and the natural environment. Its guiding idea, “Healing Horses, Humans & Habitat, One Stride at a Time,” reflects a focus on nature, healing, and learning. The ranch spans 400 acres and is bordered by the Clark Fork River, with views of the Mission Mountains and abundant wildlife, offering a scenic setting for visitors and activities.

Through its programs, training, and events, Montana Reins of Hope provides opportunities to engage with horses and the ranch environment. The organization also features its horses as part of its work. For summer visitors, trail rides are available on the ranch through A&R Stables. Rides last about 75 minutes, and no prior riding experience is required. Reservations can be made online, while private groups and special requests can be arranged by contacting the ranch.
