Their vineyards are located in Montañas de Uco, where the ideal sandy and stony soil composition ensures loose soil for the vines to explore and deep roots, resulting in excellent grape health and drainage. This unique soil imparts a mineral complexity to their wines.

Situated at an altitude ranging from 1050 to 1250 meters above sea level, Montañas de Uco experiences a significant temperature difference between day and night. Warm days with temperatures of 30 to 32°C are followed by cool nights with temperatures of 12 to 15°C. This thermal amplitude benefits grape ripening and enhances flavor development.

VINOS MIO focuses on quality, with low yields ranging from 1 to 2 bottles per plant. This allows for maximum concentration of aromas, color, and soft tannins, resulting in expressive varietal wines. Their winemaking process prioritizes naturalness, starting with manual harvest and careful selection of grapes.

Fermentation is temperature-controlled, and selected yeasts ensure complete fermentation. Varietal wines undergo cold stabilization, while reserva and gran reserva are naturally stabilized through barrel aging. All of VINOS MIO's wines are bottle-aged to ensure they are ready to be enjoyed upon release.
