du Mont-Blanc Marathon

The Marathon du Mont-Blanc is a trail-running event organized by the Club des Sports de Chamonix, a nonprofit association founded in 1905. Held around Chamonix in the Mont-Blanc massif, the annual event brings together approximately 10,000 runners and offers eight races for different ages and abilities. The program includes the 90km, 42km, 23km and 10km courses, the KM Vertical, Duo Étoilé, The Young Race and Mini Cross.

The event combines challenging mountain routes with a broader program of activities for runners, families and spectators. Participants can access race information and results, preparation guidance, roadbooks, practical travel and accommodation details, and services such as bib collection. The Trail Camp, also known as the Marathon du Mont-Blanc expo, offers a gathering point during race week.

The organizers also highlight environmental responsibility, solidarity and volunteer involvement, including solidarity bibs and fundraising initiatives. The next edition is scheduled for June 24–27, 2027, in Chamonix, with registration expected to open in November 2026
