Montebello Ballroom

Montebello Ballroom is a banquet hall and event venue located at 104 South 10th Street in Montebello, California. Built in 1927, the building first served as an Oddfellows lodge and later became Terazza Jamay, a Latin nightclub remembered fondly by local residents. New owners reopened the venue in 2014 following extensive renovations, drawing on their experience running banquets since 2001.

The ballroom hosts wedding receptions, quinceañeras, and a variety of private events. Its Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 250 guests for dinner while retaining space for dancing. A smaller ballroom offers seating for up to 120, giving clients options for different event sizes. The website features galleries, menus, linens, extras, and pricing information to help visitors plan their celebrations. Prospective clients can tour the venue and request a quote during drop-in hours on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.; appointments are not required. Montebello Ballroom also invites visitors to call or text for information and points them to Instagram for recent event photos.
