Monte do Olival is a tourism and accommodation project in the Alentejo region of Portugal, bringing together rural stays and two independent city houses in Alcácer do Sal. Its countryside property, completed in 2021, offers three houses with different layouts, supported by a swimming pool and a peaceful natural setting. The retreat is designed for guests seeking the freedom and tranquillity of the countryside while remaining a few kilometres from the city.

In the heart of Alcácer do Sal, Casa Branca and Casa Azul provide comfortable bases for exploring the town and its surroundings. The white-toned Casa Branca features rustic finishes, exposed brick walls and visible timber framing. Casa Azul is a one-bedroom home distinguished by blue accents on its furnishings, shutters and door frames. Together, the stays offer access to a region known for its landscape, the Sado River, the castle, historic churches, architecture, gastronomy and culture.

The spaces were designed by interior designer Lígia Casanova, using colours and textures inspired by the Alentejo, from whitewashed walls and warm wood to the blue of the nearby sea.
