Monte Royal Pictures is an independent production company based in Belgrade. Since its establishment in 1994, their primary goal has been to create high-quality fictional, documentary, and socially-engaged programs. Their films and TV series have garnered numerous awards both nationally and internationally, capturing the hearts of cinema and television audiences.

With the support of the European Union, Monte Royal Pictures has successfully produced programs addressing topics such as organized crime, human trafficking, illegal drug trade, violence against women and children. Founded by producer Bojan Maljević, who boasts 30 years of experience working with television and film centers in the former Yugoslavia, as well as independent productions and international co-productions. Today, their team consists of skilled professionals with decades of experience, as well as a multitude of young authors and filmmakers.

Collaborating with distinguished actors, directors, producers, and writers from Serbia, the region, and beyond, Monte Royal Pictures continues to create culturally significant films. Their TV series "Otvorena vrata" celebrated its 20th anniversary with a continuation, producing three new seasons with the same cast and crew, making television history as the first of its kind. Thanks to the enthusiasm of new generations of viewers on social media, with over 250,000 fans of the series, "Otvorena vrata" has become a cultural phenomenon.
