Montford Point Marines of America, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of African-American Marines, particularly the Montford Point Marines who served during World War II. The organization highlights their service and contributions through historical resources covering the origins of Black Marines, the 51st Defense Battalion, wartime experiences in the Pacific, and the lives of African-American Marines in Detroit. Its website features a Hall of Honorary Members, galleries, articles, videos, an e-news magazine, and information about the Congressional Gold Medal awarded to the Montford Point Marines.

The organization also creates opportunities for community engagement and education. It hosts a National Heritage Military Banquet and Awards Ceremony, promotes awareness of military history, and describes a cadet leadership camp for Detroit youth through its TSCMU Academy. Membership is open to civilians, veterans, military families, affinity groups, active-duty personnel, and reservists from all service branches. Supporters can contribute by joining, donating, spreading awareness, or becoming sponsors, with multiple sponsorship levels available.
