Monumental Group

The Monumental Group is a Maryland-based, minority- and woman-owned healthcare organization providing community-based services and healthcare staffing. Founded by registered nurse Deaira Thomas, the organization aims to help people build independence, reach their potential, and reintegrate into their communities through accessible, compassionate, and holistic care. It is a Medicaid provider and serves residents and families across Maryland.

The group offers outpatient and intensive outpatient addiction treatment, residential recovery services, and a DUI education program. Its care includes individual and group counseling, mental health therapy, family counseling, case management, and residential housing. Additional support includes transportation, mentorship, community outreach, job placement assistance, apprenticeship programs, help with judicial expungements, and COVID-19 vaccination assistance. The organization also provides practical health education, including medication and disease-process teaching, complimentary home visits, on-call registered nurses, CPR and first-aid training, and Narcan training. Across its programs, The Monumental Group focuses on recovery, community integration, and helping clients develop the skills and support needed for lasting progress.
