Les Monuments aux Morts is an online resource dedicated to the memorial heritage of wars, with a particular focus on monuments commemorating the First World War. The site brings together information on more than 55,800 published monuments and helps visitors explore them by monument, author, or commune. A mapping feature allows users to view monuments across a shared map, while the site’s blog and featured material offer further ways to engage with their history and artistic significance.

Visitors can also contribute through a monument-submission section and contact the team with questions or information. The project is supported by the Institut de Recherches Historiques du Septentrion, a CNRS research unit at the University of Lille, and is associated with public and cultural partners including the Hauts-de-France Region, the Ministry of the Armed Forces, Le Souvenir Français, and the National Office for Veterans and War Victims.
