After a year of extensive design and technology exploration, the first wooden MONZÓ bike was born in 2012. Following positive feedback, production on a limited scale began.

The brand gained recognition in 2012 when it won an award for the best-designed Wooden Balance Bike at a fair in Germany, leading to exports to Europe and the USA. By 2013, MONZÓ realized the growing demand in Mexico and officially established its presence, catering to a niche market seeking high-quality, unique bike designs. In 2016, MONZÓ expanded its offerings with aluminum models, positioning itself as the sole provider of both Wooden and Aluminum Balance Bikes.
