Moonlit Farms

Highland Oaks Weddings and Events is a family-owned Southern Indiana venue in Palmyra, about 25 minutes from Louisville, Kentucky. Formerly known as Moonlit Farms, the property spans 36 acres of rolling hills, open fields, and mature oak trees, creating a natural, romantic setting for celebrations. Couples can choose an outdoor ceremony beneath the trees and host their reception in the restored, elegant barn, which also provides a rain-ready ceremony alternative.

The venue accommodates up to 300 guests and offers bridal and groom’s suites, a 12-hour rental period, and tables and plastic chairs with setup included. On-site coordination is available to help events run smoothly. Highland Oaks hosts weddings as well as private parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and corporate gatherings. Event pricing is provided based on the occasion and plans. Alcohol service is managed by the venue: outside alcohol is not permitted, and Highland Oaks bartenders are required for events serving alcohol.
