Mopars in Morrinsville is a New Zealand car event celebrating Mopar vehicles and bringing owners, enthusiasts, and admirers together for a family-friendly weekend. Held at Morrinsville Recreation Grounds, the 2027 event is scheduled for 13–14 March and features the country’s exclusive Mopar-only car show. Visitors can see classic American and Australian muscle cars, including Dodge Daytonas, Plymouth Cudas, Valiants, and custom builds, while enjoying food stalls, a swap meet, entertainment, and activities for children. The Sunday show welcomes entrants and spectators, with awards including Best in Show and People’s Choice.
Weekend passes include a Mopar cruise, dirt-track buggy racing, 1/8-mile drag racing, clay bird shooting, a buffet pub dinner, a drive-in movie, and entry to the car show. Tickets are available for both the weekend and show day. The event also offers merchandise for men, women, and children, plus caps. Organised as a charity fundraiser supporting competitive BMX racer Rico and his goal of reaching the 2027 World Championships, Mopars in Morrinsville combines automotive celebration with community support.
