Morecambe Bay Golf Festival

Morecambe Bay Golf Festival is an annual golf event held across Morecambe, Heysham and Silverdale golf clubs. Supported by local businesses and private sponsors, the festival brings together golfers from across the United Kingdom and continues to attract growing numbers of entrants. Its programme features men’s fourball and team competitions, an Any Combination Team Event, and the three-day Festival Trophy, played as a pairs competition. The trophy is donated by Classic Gifts & Engravers Limited of Morecambe.

The 2026 festival is scheduled for 7–12 September, with events hosted at the participating clubs throughout the week. Golfers can enter by booking through the individual clubs’ websites, and the festival also provides a downloadable programme, entry information, schedules, results from previous years, and event terms and conditions. The website includes festival history and galleries, along with contact details for organiser Tony Wilkinson, who can assist with enquiries. Morecambe Bay Golf Festival offers a coordinated programme of competitive golf and gives participants the opportunity to play at three clubs in the region.
