More Than Four Foundation

More Than Four Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Traverse City, Michigan, dedicated to supporting children, families, doctors, and researchers affected by pediatric cancer. Founded by the Rigan family in 2024, the organization grew from their desire to share their cancer story and bring their community together. Its vision is a world where no child has to face cancer.

The foundation raises awareness about pediatric cancer and the need for increased research funding and support. It hosts community events that bring people together, educate the public, and encourage participation. Its cornerstone event, the More Than Four 5.04K run and walk, drew more than 800 sign-ups in its first year. Other activities include the Bid for Kids Auction, along with opportunities to volunteer, sponsor events, and fundraise.

Beyond awareness and community engagement, More Than Four collaborates with research organizations to support pediatric cancer research initiatives. Through these efforts, it works to advance progress and help direct more resources toward children facing cancer and the families, clinicians, and researchers supporting them.
