Morgane Louis-Gobin

Morgane Louis-Gobin is an artisan ceramicist and trainer based in Villard-de-Lans, in France’s Vercors region. Her studio creates functional, durable ceramic pieces, with a focus on responsible materials and practices. The food-safe ZEROTOX range is made without ingredients classified as hazardous to people or the environment, and contains no lead or cadmium. Some glazes are made in the studio using materials such as ash.

Alongside making and selling ceramics, Morgane offers individual pottery-wheel lessons throughout the year, with sessions available in several durations. The studio also runs clay-modelling workshops and other activities, and welcomes visitors by appointment for private tours and purchases. Private events can be arranged on request.

Morgane shares guidance and updates on health and regulatory issues affecting ceramic practice, and promotes safer, more environmentally considerate methods among professionals and enthusiasts. Her work and approach have also featured in media coverage. The studio shop is open year-round by appointment, with takeaway purchases and orders available.
