Moritz Filger

Moritz Filger is a state-certified mountain and ski guide based in Lenggries, offering personalised guided adventures and training across the Alps and Europe. A keen climber and ski tourer since his youth in the Allgäu, he brings professional experience and a strong focus on trust, honesty, sustainability, respect and safety to each outing. His qualifications include membership in the German Alpine Club’s mountaineering instructor team and service as an instructor with the Bavarian Mountain Rescue service.

Services cover classic mountain sports in every season: alpine climbing and high-altitude mountaineering in summer, and ski touring, freeriding and multi-day ski traverses in winter. When conditions allow, he also guides ice and mixed climbing. Courses include alpine climbing, high-altitude skills, ski touring and avalanche training, as well as preparation for ski traverses. Clients can tailor a trip or course to their goals, experience and budget, with guidance on planning, risk management and technique. His approach prioritises suitable terrain, a welcoming learning environment and adapting plans to changing mountain conditions.
