The Morocco Desert Challenge is the 2nd largest rally-raid in the world and takes place every year in April. Morocco Desert Challenge is an annual rally-raid event held in Morocco, bringing together competitors, support teams and rally enthusiasts for a multi-stage desert challenge. The event is scheduled to return from 8 to 17 April 2027, with eight stages and a redesigned route. Its programme offers several ways to take part, including Rally Pro categories, Vintage, Malle Moto and Adventure Raid.
The Vintage category is intended for historic rally cars and trucks at least 20 years old, while Adventure Raid provides a distinct experience for participants. Competitors can register vehicles and arrange support through service teams, with information also available on navigation, transportation, budgets and safety. The organisers highlight detailed road books, an emphasis on minimising liaison distance, and catering and bivouac facilities as defining features of the rally.
