The Mortal Method aims to help scholars develop a more thoughtful relationship with mortality and apply that perspective to their working lives. Its materials encourage work with healthy limits, greater embodiment, vitality, stronger connections, and a deeper sense of meaning. The website offers a free PDF guide explaining the framework, blog posts documenting its application and ongoing refinement, and a 30-day guided apprenticeship. The apprenticeship provides daily reflection prompts and curated resources by email, inviting participants to engage personally with the method. Together, these offerings provide an introduction, a structured practice, and examples for adapting the framework to different contexts.
