With a presence and extensive networks in Lebanon and the MENA region, their ultimate goal is to promote coexistence within communities and national systems. Founded by activists, legal and health experts in September 2014, MOSAIC offers specialized and comprehensive services to marginalized groups.

They are actively involved in research, advocating for policy reform, and developing knowledge and capacities on issues related to Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity/Expressions, and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC). In addition, MOSAIC actively fights against human rights violations, particularly those targeting LGBTIQ+ rights violations. Their vision is to create a society where gender and sexual identities are respected, and where individuality is embraced in inclusive collective spaces without fear and persecution.

MOSAIC takes a gender-neutral approach, providing services to all marginalized groups and the LGBTIQ+ community, while bridging service gaps for male survivors of sexual violence and Trans* persons. They adopt a holistic approach, advocating for LGBTIQ+ friendly national systems and promoting individual identities alongside community equality. With a strategic mindset, MOSAIC mobilizes people and resources to achieve natural integration of LGBTIQ+ individuals in communities.
