Mosaico is an open-source data platform for robotics and physical AI, developed by dilica s.r.l. It helps teams turn large volumes of robotic sensor data into structured, training-ready assets while keeping data on their own servers, cloud accounts, or edge hardware. Its platform supports the data lifecycle from ingestion and organization to search, retrieval, and streaming, helping reduce the need for custom format-conversion tools and fragile data workflows.

Mosaico’s Python SDK provides tools to push, find, and stream data, with built-in models for common sensor types such as IMU, GPS, images, and pressure, as well as options to define custom models. It supports ROS, ROS2, MCAP, CSV, and custom sensors, and can process datasets larger than local memory. Users can query recordings by metadata and sensor values, locate events with precise timestamps, and replay synchronized data across sensors. The platform also includes data lineage, multimodal search, orchestration, and certification capabilities. Mosaico offers an Apache 2.0-licensed community edition and commercial licensing with enterprise features, support, and custom integrations.
