Nancy Keating and Mosaics Garden is the studio and creative practice of contemporary mosaic artist Nancy Keating, based in Carmel, Indiana. Nancy creates original mosaic art for sale, residential installations, community projects, and public spaces. Her outdoor works include sixteen glass mosaic butterflies along the Monon Trail in Carmel and two large-scale murals, “Cosmic Flow,” depicting the infinite flow of energy in the universe.
Mosaics Garden also welcomes people of different experience levels to explore mosaic making. Nancy offers in-person workshops and classes, typically for beginners and intermediate artists, covering techniques such as pique assiette, glass-on-glass mosaics, and glass cutting. For those who prefer to learn at home, the studio provides online video courses and ready-to-use mosaic kits. Gift cards can be applied toward workshops, supplies, one-on-one instruction, and other offerings.
Through her own artwork, teaching, and student showcases, Nancy shares her enthusiasm for mosaic art and encourages creativity in a welcoming setting.
