MOSART est un projet de recherche, d'innovation et de création qui explore la revalorisation de matières premières secondaires, issues des terres d’excavation, dans une logique d’économie circulaire. Porté par un collectif pluridisciplinaire (mode, design, art, architecture, ingénierie), MOSART vise à transformer les particules fines de ces terres en matières innovantes destinées à de nouveaux usages : - Textile et mode - Design et objets - Matériaux de construction - Produits, matières et matériaux d’art et de création Porté par ARTESA, en collaboration avec Solvalor et le créateur Mossi Traoré, le projet s’appuie sur une démarche scientifique, artistique et technique pour développer des prototypes et des filières de transformation durables avec des partenaires industriels, des laboratoires et des centres techniques. MOSART engage une réflexion concrète sur la valeur cachée de la matière, sur la traçabilité, l’ancrage local, et les nouvelles esthétiques qui peuvent émerger de ce qui est trop souvent considéré comme un déchet. Ce projet s’inscrit dans une volonté forte de repenser nos ressources, de limiter l’extraction de matières vierges, et d’agir pour un avenir plus respectueux du vivant et des équilibres naturels.

MOSART is a research and creative program, and a brand of the Artesa group, exploring how excavated earth can become a valuable resource. Its work brings together science, art and industry to develop new materials for design, creative practice and future applications. Rather than treating millions of tonnes of excavated soil as waste, MOSART investigates ways to give it renewed value and use.
The program develops material concepts and supports pilot projects, connecting partners and collaborators across five application sectors. Its work to date includes three years of research and development, nine partners, 24 pathways for material recovery and 11 pilot projects in progress. MOSART presents its projects and materials through an online gallery and invites organisations and other interested parties to collaborate.
