Mosquita Muerta Wines is an Argentine wine brand founded in 2009, rooted in Mendoza’s distinctive wine-growing regions. Its project began as a collection of premium blends and brings together grape varieties, terroirs and winemaking innovation to create wines with character and a story behind each label. The winemaking team experiments with small-batch fermentations in open barrels, stainless-steel microtanks, concrete eggs and plastic containers, using native yeasts.
The portfolio includes blends and limited-edition varietal wines across lines such as Patito Feo, Malcriado, Mosquita Muerta, Sapo de Otro Pozo, Pispi and Perro Callejero. The company manages more than 1,000 hectares of its own vineyards across four estates in Mendoza and San Juan, including the Uco Valley and Pedernal Valley. Beyond wine, Mosquita Muerta offers tourism experiences at Bodega Los Toneles, including winery visits and tastings.
Visitors can also dine at Abrasado, the winery’s restaurant, and make reservations online. The brand’s wines have gained recognition and popularity in Argentina, Brazil and across South America
