Mossy Rock Trials and Off-Road is a Montana business serving trials and off-road riders, particularly in the South Central Montana region. Founded by Dan Larson in 2011, it began as a small repair shop selling a few revived vintage motorcycles. Today, Larson combines his passion for trials riding with motorcycle sales, restoration, service, and community events.
The company is an authorized dealer for TRS and Beta trials bikes, offering both new and used motorcycles. Its shop also carries trials accessories, apparel, and parts, from protective gear to engine components. Mossy Rock provides guidance to help customers choose equipment for comfort and safety, as well as service and repairs to prepare bikes for riding. Dan also restores used trials motorcycles, bringing them back to working condition for new enthusiasts.
Beyond the shop, Mossy Rock hosts riding events throughout the year and offers classes and lessons. Its website shares information about Montana trials events, including the annual Whiskey Gulch event, and invites riders to connect for updates on upcoming activities.
