Motala Mastklättring offers guided climbs up one of two radio masts in Bondebacka, near Motala Radio Museum in Motala, Sweden. The experience gives visitors the chance to climb high above the town with a certified guide, using approved, inspected equipment. Harnesses, helmets and gloves are provided, and each climb takes approximately two to two and a half hours.
The activity is suitable for celebrations, group outings or anyone seeking an unusual adventure; participants receive a diploma and celebrate afterward with sparkling wine. Optional extras include a nearby nine-hole disc golf course and meals for groups of at least five, with several salad choices or sandwich cake available. Gift certificates have also been offered through Motala Mastklättring and partner businesses.
The company’s website states that the operator entered bankruptcy and that no climbs will take place during 2026, with a possible reopening in 2027. Bookings for 2026 are stopped. When operating, tours were arranged for groups of at least four, with a maximum of eight participants per group
