Mother's Magical Milk

Mother’s Magical Milk is a maternal health and lactation organization providing clinical support, education, and advocacy for families and professionals. Led by experienced IBCLC Dr. Tenise Hordge, the organization offers lactation services and accepts certain insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare, submitting claims on clients’ behalf. Its services also include access to screened, pasteurized donor human milk through its approved distribution site relationship with Mothers’ Milk Bank of North Texas; Mother’s Magical Milk does not screen, process, or pasteurize milk itself.

For families and aspiring professionals, the organization offers periodic Prenatal Breastfeeding 101 classes, continuing education, and workforce development opportunities. Its First Foods Forward pop-up clinic provides community-based, culturally responsive lactation care in Mesquite, Texas, while helping build clinical pathways for future lactation professionals. The organization also hosts events and provides educational resources, including videos, a blog, and a Facebook group. Dr. Hordge is available to speak to hospitals, universities, healthcare organizations, and community groups on human lactation, maternal health, and leadership.
