The International March of the Living is an educational organization dedicated to Holocaust remembrance and learning. Since 1988, it has brought participants from communities around the world together for journeys to Poland and Israel, where they explore the history of the Holocaust and carry the torch of remembrance forward. Its annual program welcomes teens, young adults, and adults; nearly 10,000 people take part each year, alongside survivors, students, and educators.
The organization also offers programs for youth aged 15โ18, young adults aged 19โ36, adults aged 19 and over, and international delegations. Beyond the journeys, it supports survivors through sponsorship and storytelling initiatives, and connects former participants through an alumni network, book club, and reflections. Its educational resources include a handbook, digital archive, videos, films, photographs, and participant stories.
The organization shares survivor letters and stories, news, and media, and invites people to join future marches, explore past programs, subscribe for updates, or donate. Through these activities, it fosters learning, dialogue, and continued engagement with Holocaust history
