Motorikskolen

Motorikskolen is a child and family motor development service based in Randers, Denmark, led by Daniel Sørensen, a qualified educator and motor skills adviser with more than 15 years of experience working with children and young people. The brand helps parents better understand their child’s movement, sensory responses and physical needs, offering practical guidance that families can use in everyday life.

Its services include individual motor assessments, parent consultations and tailored home programmes with activities, exercises and play ideas. Assessments involve an initial conversation with parents, observation through play and movement, and a review of findings. They are not diagnoses and do not replace medical or other health assessments. Motorikskolen also provides talks and professional guidance for parent groups and practitioners.

For gymnastics clubs and coaches, the school offers a four-hour tumbling course focused on technique, progression and coaching, as well as Tumbling-bogen, a practical reference for gymnasts, coaches and parents. Clubs can also fundraise by selling the book.
