Motorrijschool Peel Maas

Motorrijschool Peel & Maas is a KNMV-recognized motorcycle riding school serving the Peel en Maas area in the Netherlands. Founded around instructor and owner René Crommentuijn’s passion for motorcycling, the school focuses exclusively on motorcycle instruction rather than offering it as an additional service. Its mission is to prepare both aspiring and experienced riders for safe, confident participation in traffic, whatever the conditions.

Training combines practical instruction with coaching, helping students discover and apply skills for vehicle control, traffic awareness and risk-conscious riding. The school uses the EU-developed HERMES coaching method and states that it achieves the region’s highest pass rate. Its program includes motorcycle lessons, an introductory lesson and refresher courses, with an emphasis on building skills that remain useful beyond the test—including for stress-free rides in areas such as the Ardennes and Eifel. The school also helps students obtain appropriate motorcycle clothing. Motorcycle lessons are listed at €67.50 per hour, and prospective riders can request an introductory lesson or explore the school’s travel offerings.
