About Mountain States Regional Genetics Network
Mountain States Genetics (MSGEN) is a regional network dedicated to providing information and resources related to genetic disorders. Serving families in Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, MSGEN aims to ensure that individuals with genetic disorders and their families have access to quality care and appropriate genetic expertise and information. As one of the seven regional networks funded by the Healthcare Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), MSGEN focuses on priorities such as linking medically underserved populations to genetic services, implementing quality improvement activities in genetic services, and developing innovative models of telehealth/telemedicine in clinical genetics.
They also provide resources to genetics and primary care providers, public health professionals, and individuals with genetic conditions and their families. Through their website, funded by HRSA, MSGEN offers a wealth of information and support to make genetics accessible and understandable for all.
