Mountain West Beer Fest is South Dakota’s largest beer festival and a regional craft beer tasting event held each November at Rushmore Hall inside The Monument in downtown Rapid City. Owned and operated by The HomeSlice Group, the festival brings together local and regional craft breweries for a day of sampling and entertainment. Visitors can explore more than 200 beers, seltzers, and nonalcoholic drinks from over 80 breweries, with industry experts and a wide range of brews featured.
The event offers several ticket options. VIP guests receive entry one hour before general admission, unlimited sampling, access to a VIP area, and lunch served from noon to 2 p.m. General admission includes unlimited sampling from 1 p.m.; non-sampling tickets provide entry from that time without sampling. Food trucks, bar games, and upscale catering for VIP ticket holders add to the festival experience. Located in the heart of downtown Rapid City, Mountain West Beer Fest also provides information about lodging and local activities.
