The Council focuses on five key areas: leadership, achievement, character, service, and the outdoors.

They aim to prepare young people for a lifetime of leadership, teaching them valuable skills and helping them achieve meaningful goals. Through their methods and programs, Scouting helps shape and build in youth the qualities that guide good decision making in life. The commitment of adults helps build a straight road for the youth to follow into the future.

Scouting promotes active involvement in learning to appreciate the world and one's place in it. With the many distractions faced by youth today, Scouting provides an enduring and impactful experience. Contact the Council for more information about their programs and services
