Mounted Maestros

Mounted Maestros LLC is a riding and horsemanship program based in Lillington, North Carolina, offering English riding lessons for children and adults at a range of experience levels. Founded and led by trainer Megan Hommes, the program welcomes beginners, returning riders, and experienced equestrians, with instruction tailored to each rider’s goals, abilities, and pace. Its primary focus is English riding, hunt seat, hunter/jumper, and showmanship, with additional experience in eventing and cross-country riding.

Lessons develop more than riding technique: students learn horse handling, grooming, tacking, and communication, alongside balance, position, steering, and confidence. Riders can progress from introductory instruction toward jumping, showing, and competition in a supportive environment. The program also offers training services, an introductory lesson, and a monthly lesson program. Sessions take place in a rural setting with an outdoor arena and private trails, and are arranged by appointment. Mounted Maestros provides a referral rewards program for enrolled students and invites community support through its fundraiser and barn wish list.
