Mount Etna Child & Family Services

Mount Etna Child & Family Services is an RBA-owned, multidisciplinary teaching clinic supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and their families. Its neurodiversity-affirming services are designed around each child’s needs and include applied behaviour analysis (ABA), early intervention using the Early Start Denver Model, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy and social work. The team also offers parent consultations and counselling, coaching, social and educational groups, camps, workshops, infant and parent support, and help navigating services.

Mount Etna provides care at four clinics in Durham Region and Toronto, as well as in-home and virtual services in West Toronto. In-home and virtual services across Kitchener-Waterloo are planned to begin in September 2026. Families can start with a complimentary call; no referral or diagnosis is required. The care process may include an assessment, collaborative goal-setting and an individualized therapy plan, with transition support when appropriate. Funding options include the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), Special Services at Home (SSAH), extended health benefits and private pay.
