Movement Whisperer

Movement Whisperer is a paediatric physiotherapy service led by Michelle Cattanach, supporting babies, children and young adults from newborn to 20 years across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and a Master of Health Science in Paediatric Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. With 30 years of experience in hospital and community settings, she works with children experiencing developmental, orthopaedic, neurological, balance, coordination and sensorimotor challenges, as well as conditions associated with neurodiversity and genetic disorders.

Sessions use equipment and play-based activities to support gross motor skills, balance, coordination, strength and movement development. Visits are generally provided at home, with local parks also available; a fortnightly clinic operates at Upper Coomera. Services are available to families using plan-managed or self-managed NDIS funding, as well as those without NDIS support. Michelle accepts clients with or without health fund cover and bulk bills eligible GP Chronic Health Plan sessions, with travel costs payable.
