Moverel is a Portuguese furniture manufacturer founded by Jorge Matias in 1981 in the Batalha region. From its beginnings in a small workshop producing household furniture for the domestic market, the company has grown into a 12,000-square-metre operation developing exclusive projects for clients in Portugal and abroad.
Inspired by the natural character of wood, Moverel designs and makes bespoke furniture and interiors tailored to each client’s needs and aspirations. Its experienced design and production teams create personalized settings and pieces suited to a range of styles, from classic to contemporary. The company works with a variety of high-quality materials and combines skilled craftsmanship with advanced machinery and 3D CAD, CAM, and production-management software.
Moverel emphasizes durability, quality, and timeless design. It also highlights environmental and social responsibility: since 1998, it has used certified wood sourced from sustainable ecosystems, applies environmentally compliant finishes, and reuses and treats water in its manufacturing process. The company’s specialized teams work closely with clients to bring their projects to life.
