Move with Nature

Move with Nature Physiotherapy is a mobile paediatric physiotherapy service founded by Helen McRae for children and families on the Coffs Coast. Its approach combines evidence-based physiotherapy with play and the natural environment, helping children work towards movement goals while encouraging curiosity, adventure and a stronger connection with nature. Sessions may use natural elements such as trees, beaches, creeks, dirt and mud, with activities shaped around each child’s interests and goals.

The service travels between Woolgoolga, Macksville and Bellingen, offering sessions in settings suited to children and their families. These include homes and backyards, schools and daycares, as well as local playgrounds, pools and green spaces. By providing therapy in familiar or outdoor environments, Move with Nature aims to make movement practice engaging and meaningful.

Helen brings 12 years of experience in the paediatric community disability sector and has worked with a diverse range of children. The service reflects her passion for fun, play-centred therapy and her connection to the Coffs Coast.
