MPC

MPC Sportegyesület, also known as the Mary Poppins Club, is a Hungarian paragliding association founded in 2003 by Bélik Péter, Partizer Csaba and Pereczes Zsolt. The club traces its beginnings to an informal group established in autumn 2000. Its members share a passion for unpowered flight, using slope winds and thermal currents to glide and gain altitude. The club explains that paragliding is not the same as parachuting: the experience is about soaring through the air rather than simply jumping.

MPC offers paragliding courses and provides information for prospective students, including a course application option and a B-exam question set. Its activities also include organised paragliding trips, club evenings and gatherings, and the MPC Cup. Visitors can explore trip information and sign up for tours, while tandem flying is also featured among the club’s offerings. The association publishes updates about its activities and events, including a trip to Ölüdeniz, Turkey, featuring flying and festival activities. MPC brings together people interested in learning, flying and sharing the paragliding experience.
