About MPHA
The Minnesota Public Health Association (MPHA) has been committed to promoting a healthier Minnesota since 1907. With a focus on effective public health practice and engaged citizens, MPHA strives to improve the well-being of the community. MPHA offers a variety of products and services to support its mission.
Membership in MPHA provides access to valuable resources, including the MPHA newsletter, member blog posts, and voting and public health resources. The association also hosts an annual conference, featuring presentations, a poster hall, and opportunities for sponsorship and exhibitors. In addition, MPHA recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations with awards such as the Albert Justus Chesley Award, Dr.
Harold 'Hal' Leppink Scholarship, and the Paul & Sheila Wellstone Public Health Achievement Award.
