About Mphepo Power
Mphepo Power is a Zambian renewable energy company dedicated to bringing wind power to Eastern Province, Zambia. Through a collaboration with the local Chewa community and three professional renewable energy companies, Mphepo Power aims to develop wind power projects that will benefit the entire nation by supplying the national grid. The first project, 'Unika I', near Katete, is set to have a capacity of 150-300MW, with plans for additional phases in the region.
Wind power is a cost-effective and sustainable energy solution, especially crucial in Zambia's dry seasons when hydro generation is limited. Led by a diverse and experienced board, Mphepo Power is committed to transforming the region through job creation and community development projects.
