MPU Help

MPU help provides individualized preparation for Germany’s medical-psychological assessment (MPU), supporting people seeking to regain their driving licence after alcohol or drug offences, traffic violations, criminal offences, or accumulated points. Clients can work with the team nationwide by video chat or meet in person in Euskirchen. The service begins with a free, non-binding consultation to review each person’s circumstances and discuss a practical preparation plan.

Preparation is delivered through individual sessions rather than group courses and covers case analysis, guidance on appropriate abstinence documentation, and practice for the psychological interview. The team also helps clients understand previous assessment results and address issues identified in an unsuccessful attempt. MPU help emphasizes honest reflection and personal change, and does not promise a positive outcome. Sessions are billed individually, with no subscription or contractual commitment; participation certificates and session records are provided.

The advisers are Charlotte Dargel-Carthaus, whose experience includes traffic psychology and addiction counselling, and Nora Carthaus, who has particular experience preparing clients for drug-related cases.
