Matthieu Ravari Fishing France offers professional fishing guidance, trips and accommodation led by Matthieu Ravari, a qualified fishing guide based in the Albi area of Tarn. A professional guide since 2008, he specializes in freshwater fishing for carp, catfish and predatory fish, including guided boat fishing for catfish on the Tarn. Since earning a maritime fishing qualification in 2019, he has also offered sea-fishing experiences on the French Basque coast, including tuna fishing from Anglet.
Services include day trips, fishing courses and multi-day stays across the Tarn, Basque Country and Landes, as well as kayak fishing and organized trips to destinations in Portugal and Spain. These include the Alqueva reservoir, Rio Sabor, the Douro and Mequinenza, sometimes in partnership with local guides. The business also offers a holiday house for up to six guests beside the Tarn in Lagrave, and a fishing lodge in Foz do Sabor. Customers can enquire about gift vouchers, specific destinations and tailored fishing adventures. Ravari’s experience includes fishing in France and abroad, and television appearances.
