Motorradclub Mels (MRC Mels) is a motorcycle club based in Mels, Switzerland, bringing together members and welcoming others interested in motorcycling. The club supports a social riding community through regular gatherings, shared route ideas, and information for members and visitors. Its monthly meeting, or Monatshock, is held at the Speiserestaurant Plonserhof in Plons, where members and interested guests are invited to meet.
A key feature of the club’s website is an extensive collection of 34 suggested motorcycle tours. The routes start in or near Mels and range from shorter regional rides to longer journeys of around 480 kilometres. They cover scenic roads and mountain passes across Switzerland and neighbouring areas, including routes through the Alps, the Appenzell region, Graubünden, Ticino, Austria, and southern Germany. Some itineraries also specify stops and suggested departure times. MRC Mels shares club news and encourages followers to connect through Instagram. The club also acknowledges support from companies and institutions, including VTR Motorrad AG Schmerikon.
