MRF

Mukhtaran Rafiq Foundation (MRF) is a registered nonprofit organization serving underprivileged communities since 2004. Guided by compassion and a commitment to equity, it works to improve access to healthcare, food, financial assistance, and other essential support. Its flagship project, Mukhtaran Rafiq Welfare Hospital, provides free healthcare for people eligible for zakat, with services including dialysis, surgery, diagnostic laboratory testing, radiology, and specialist care in fields such as cardiology, urology, orthopaedics, dermatology, dentistry, neurology, and obstetrics and gynaecology.

The foundation also offers free outpatient consultations, medical camps, and laboratory and imaging services. Beyond healthcare, MRF provides daily free meals, monthly grocery support, and monthly financial assistance. Its programs also include flood relief and support for dialysis patients.

Through donations and partnerships, the organization seeks to help people facing poverty and vulnerability, regardless of background or socioeconomic status. The foundation describes its work as a collective effort by professionals and volunteers to advance health, food security, and social welfare
