Margaret River Organic Farmer

Margaret River Organic Farmer is a family-run regenerative farm in Rosa Brook, founded in 2015 by Lawson and Laura. Combining Lawson’s farming experience with Laura’s sustainability and permaculture education, the team works with nature through holistic, biological growing methods. Their goal is to produce food while caring for animals, restoring soil health, supporting biodiversity and protecting waterways and wildlife habitat. The farm received the Australian Government WA Landcare Farming Award in 2019 for leadership in integrated land management.

Its offerings include pasture-raised eggs, egg pasta, grass-finished beef and lamb, seasonal pastured chicken, organic chicken broth, and products for poultry, soils and gardens, such as feed, shell grit, biochar, rock dust, worm castings and pelletised manure. Customers can shop online for next-day collection in Rosa Brook or visit the farm shop by appointment. The family also welcomes visitors to open days and farm tours, runs sustainable living workshops, and provides farm consultancy. Through these activities, Margaret River Organic Farmer shares its approach to good food, regenerative agriculture and community connection.
