MRS Šlapanice

Moravian Anglers’ Union, Šlapanice Local Branch, is a community fishing organization serving anglers and prospective members in and around Šlapanice. The branch provides information on membership, annual fees, fishing permits, regulations, and local fishing waters, alongside updates on catch statistics and fish species. It manages fishing-related activities at its waters and fish-farming facilities, and shares practical notices about access restrictions, conservation measures, and changes affecting individual sites.

The organization also supports people who want to become anglers. It offers knowledge tests for applicants seeking their first state fishing licence and runs a children’s fishing club for girls and boys aged 8 to 15, with regular meetings at its Šlapanice clubhouse. Young anglers and beginners can take part in events such as float-fishing competitions, which are open to children who are not yet anglers as well. The branch publishes event schedules, competition results, gallery content, and other community news. Its clubhouse also serves as a venue for association activities and the distribution of fishing documents and permits.
