About MS Wissenschaft
The MS Wissenschaft is a Motor Ship, known as MS, repurposed for scientific exploration. Formerly a cargo vessel, it now houses an engaging exhibition called "Freiheit" since 2002. Each summer, the ship travels across Germany, visiting 30 cities, including stops in Austria, from May to October.
The exhibition is part of the Science Year initiative, allowing visitors to interact with various scientific concepts through hands-on exhibits and experiments. With around 30 stations, the exhibition delves into topics like artificial intelligence, human decision-making, and societal influences on freedom. Visitors can explore the human brain, play games, test new EU rules against online hate, and even participate in a freedom-themed quiz.
