Mateřská škola Ostrava–Hrabůvka, Adamusova 7 is a public preschool in a quiet part of Ostrava’s Hrabůvka district. Operated as a contributory organization established by the Ostrava-Jih municipal district, it serves children across two locations: the central Adamusova site, with seven classes, and the Klegova branch, with five. Most classes are organized for children of similar ages.

The school provides early childhood education for a range of needs and abilities. Its offer includes a class for children under three and a special class for children with special educational needs. It also identifies and supports gifted children in cooperation with Mensa, and promotes social and emotional skills, digital literacy, and children’s wellbeing. A talent centre called Elementík and a craft workshop are part of the school.

The school emphasizes an educational program responsive to each child’s individual needs and values communication and cooperation with families. It works with institutions including art and primary schools, counselling services, and special education centres. The preschool operates from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
