MSC Berghaupten e.V. im DMV is a motorsport club founded in 1967, bringing together enthusiasts for racing and year-round community activities. Based in Berghaupten, the club organizes a traditional two-day race event that has grown into one of the largest motorsport gatherings in the Ortenau district. Saturday features speedway racing on a 262-metre oval, with training and preliminary heats leading to an evening main event under floodlights, followed by a race party. Sunday’s programme moves to a 675-metre grass track, where solo motorcycles and sidecars compete at speeds of up to 160 km/h. The event offers multiple races and food and drink for visitors, making it suitable for families and motorsport fans.
The club also introduces visitors to track racing disciplines, including long-track racing, speedway and ice speedway. Its wider activities include organizing the race venue, group bus trips to other races, walks and social events. Members can connect through the club’s rider community and its Oldtimer group for classic-motorcycle enthusiasts.
