About MSEA Kenya
The Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) of Kenya is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and transforming the nation’s economy through robust support for micro and small enterprises (MSEs). Established under the Micro and Small Enterprises Act of 2012, MSEA plays a pivotal role in implementing targeted programs designed to foster industrialization and job creation. Their initiatives include the Kenya Youth Employment Opportunities Project (KYEOP), MbeleNaBiz, and Soko Biashara, which aim to enhance entrepreneurship skills and access to markets.
MSEA operates the Kariobangi MSE Centre of Excellence, serving as a one-stop shop where businesses can access crucial services from various governmental and financial institutions, including KRA and KenInvest. With a vision aligned to Kenya’s Vision 2030, MSEA is committed to creating a conducive environment for sustainable growth. Through partnerships, capacity-building programs, and strategic interventions, MSEA continues to inspire innovation and economic development across all 47 counties in Kenya, ultimately striving to create one million new jobs
